HydrOcean was created from and is supported by the Fluid Mechanics Laboratory of Ecole Centrale Nantes (ECN UMR / CNRS). HydrOcean and ECN have set up a highly efficient research partnership, which aims at promoting the most innovative research tools developed in their laboratory and also making them accessible to industrial partners in the form of service provision or through user licenses.

Bureau Veritas acquires HydrOcean

We are pleased to announce that on September 8th, 2015 HydrOcean was acquired by Bureau Veritas. Bureau Veritas is a large and diverse group, headquartered and listed in Paris, with a market capitalisation of circa €9 billion. Created in 1828, the Group has more than 66,500 employees in around 1,400 offices and laboratories located all across the world. Bureau Veritas helps its clients to improve their performance by offering services and innovative solutions in order to ensure that their assets, products, infrastructure and processes meet standards and regulations in terms of quality, health and safety, environmental protection and social responsibility.
